First schedule of Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' wrapped up
Ulaganayangan Kamal Haasan, who had begun shooting for his upcoming film 'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam, has completed the first schedule of shooting of the film. The star actor left to the U.S earlier today for the shooting of 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar.
Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, 'Thug Life' has a huge star cast which includes Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Dulquer Salmaan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayam Ravi and Joju George. Portions involving KamalHaasan, Joju George & Abhirami has been filmed in the first schedule.
The team will be taking a short break after which the second schedule of shooting is expected to begin soon with Dulquer Salman, Jayam Ravi, Gautham Karthik and Trisha joining the shooting. The next schedule to expected to happen in Siberia, Russia.
While AR Rahman is composing music for the film, the technical crew includes cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who will be working on a Mani Ratnam film after 2004’s Aayitha Ezhuthu, National Award winners Sreekar Prasad (editing), Anbariv (action choreography) and Sharmishta Roy (production design).
