Karthi reacts to the audiences' response for 'Meiyazhagan', says 'Thank you for your love and kindness'

'Meiyazhagan' starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy was released in theatres on September 27, and the film is winning regular praise from the audience. Now, Karthi took to social media to thank fans and audience for their immense response to 'Meiyazhagan'. "Dear friends! As I finished reading “Meiyazhagan” a great sense of love and compassion filled my heart and I instantly wanted all of you to experience the same. I know it was a different genre but I was willing. THANK YOU for your love and kindness", wrote Karthi to express his happiness over the success of his latest release.

Directed by Prem Kumar, 'Meiyazhagan' is set in a rural backdrop and the film is focused mainly on Karthi and Aravind Swamy's characters. Karthi delivered a charismatic performance to add his latest one to one of the actor's best performances. Aravind Swamy looks strong in his role, and he delivered a joyous performance to win audiences' hearts. Govind Vasandha scored the music to elevate the film well through his background music, while the song 'Yaaro Ivan Yaaro' sung by Kamal Haasan turned out to be a more special one for fans.
