The director opens up on finalising the female lead

The energetic director feels lucky to have Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. He revealed, "Priya was the first choice for the female lead, but she couldn't accept to do the role as the shooting dates clashed with her other films. Then I couldn't find a replacement for her. But later some of her films got delayed, and she came on board and did the role excellently. Priya's role in 'Kuruthi Attam' will establish herself as a performer."
