Music composer and singer Hiphop Adhi, now also an actor is celebrating his 31st birthday today (February 20). He released his debut album ‘Hip Hop Tamizhan’ in 2012 along with his friend Jeeva. Then, from 2013 Adhi started contributing towards the film industry as a music composer as well as a singer. He has now composed music for over 20 Tamil films. ‘Meesaya Murukku’ was the film directed, acted and also the music for the movie was composed by Hiphop Adhi. It was released in 2017. The song ‘Great Ji’ from this movie was a super hit even before the film was released. The song first came with the lyrics ‘Sate Ji’ but was later changed to ‘Great Ji’.

Kaadhal Cricket from Thani Oruvan
‘Thani Oruvan’ featuring Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara and Arvind Swamy was released in 2017. The music for the movie was composed by Adhi. The song ‘Kaadhal Cricket’ was a blockbuster hit even before the movie was released in theatres. The lyrics of the song was written by Adhi and it was sung by Kharesma Ravichandran – a British playback singer of Indian origin.

The music for the movie was composed by Adhi and the lyrics of the song ‘Vilambara Idaiveli’ was written by Kabilan Vairamuthu. The song was well received as it was different from other romantic songs. It was sung by Christopher Stanley, Sudarshan Ashok, Srinisha Jayaseelan and Hiphop Tamizha.
