​Story of KV Vijayendra Prasad

Released in 2009, 'Magadheera' is a fantasy action drama helmed by maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli who co-wrote the film along with his writer father KV Vijayendra Prasad. Technically the film is pretty sound with production values expected of a Rajamouli film.

​Reincarnation-fiction

It is a film about reincarnation that has a twist of romance, comedy, and drama. The movie has multiple plots that occur in two different timelines. Ram Charan plays a street-bike racer in the present time, and Kala Bhairava is a brave warrior in the past. Kajal Aggarwal essays a college goer Indira in the present time, and Mithravinda, princess of the kingdom of Udaigarh in the past time. As the movie progresses, both characters discover that they are the reincarnated couple.

This national award-winning fantasy saga, played effortlessly by Ram Charan was made within a budget of Rs 40 crores. The movie eventually did a business of over Rs 77.96 crores at the box office. It was jointly bankrolled by Allu Aravind and BVSN Prasad under the Geetha Arts banner.

'Magadheera' is high on technical aspects. The camerawork by KK Senthil Kumar is one of the best in recent times. The fantasy drama, period visuals, and action blocks showcased are mind-blowing. ​Chiranjeevi's guest appearance

Megastar Chiranjeevi had a guest appearance in 'Magadheera.' For the first time, Ram Charan shared screen space with his star father Chiru in the movie. This one is one of the well-written cameo roles of all time, and the Godfather actor did fit the bill perfectly.

Ram Charan was paired opposite Kajal Aggarwal in the 2009 film. Such was the power of the film that it catapulted both the leading actors into stardom.
