Anurag Kashyap to join ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ star Chiranjeevi in upcoming Bobby directorial - Reports

Megastar Chiranjeevi is taking in the success of ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film is doing well at the box office and has become his veteran’s biggest film. Chiranjeevi is now gearing up for his next and if the recent reports are said to be true, then director and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap might join him in it.As per 123Telugu, Chiranjeevi will be seen working with director Bobby in his upcoming movie. The movie is expected to officially launch in February. The makers are planning to begin shooting soon after the launch. In addition to it, Anurag Kashyap is likely to play an important role in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap is making his Telugu acting debut with ‘Dacoit’. He plays Inspector Swamy, a fearless and honest cop. He is expected to play an intense character interspersed with dry humor. The film stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur and is directed by debutant Shaneil Deo. The film is set to hit the big screens on March 19, 2026. With respect to Anurag Kashyap's last directorial outing, it was ‘Nishaanchi’, which was released in 2025.
