Actor Ashu Reddy and her family are under investigation by the Hyderabad City Central Crime Station following a complaint alleging a ₹9.35 crore fraud. The case was filed on April 20, 2026, by Shaikpet resident Yenumula Satyanarayana. He alleged that his son, Y V Dharmendra, a London-based software engineer, met Reddy in 2018 and entered a relationship based on marriage assurances. Over the following years, Dharmendra reportedly provided substantial financial support for Reddy’s personal expenses and assets like gold, vehicles, and real estate. The complaint claims the family used the marriage promise to obtain these funds but subsequently failed to fulfill the commitment. The allegations
