Allu Arjun and ‘Jawan’ fame Atlee are working on the upcoming large scale sci-fi thriller, ‘Raaka’. As the film is currently in the production phase, the latest report suggests that the team will be filming a major and lengthy schedule in the coming days.
Makers gearing for long shoot
According to Telugu Chitraalu’s social media post, the makers will be shooting a big sequence in mid June. It is reported that the film’s lead including Allu Arjun and
Deepika Padukone will be joined with actors
Jim Sarbh and Femina George along with the other cast members will be part of this schedule.
The post further suggests, the team is expected to complete most of the film’s complicated sequences by the end of his part. Other portions include most of the scenes dialogues between the actors.
The makers have planned to first work on the heavy CGI portions first which they have been working on over the last year. They did it to make the overall shoot process smoother.
Rumoured cast of ‘Raaka’
Talking about the film’s cast, it is also reported to include Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
In another news about the film, according to Moneycontrol, the team seems to have approached the Delhi High Court for copyright protection. If permission is given, other people may not be allowed to use Allu Arjun’s mannerisms, dialogue style, and signature moves in ‘Rakaa’, for commercial purposes.
About ‘Raaka’
Speaking about ‘Raaka’, on Allu Arjun’s birthday the makers shared the first look of the actor’s from the film. In the poster, he has kohl-lined eyes, a receding hairline, and a thick grey beard. He covers part of his face with a clawed hand and stares straight.
Makers are yet to announce the film’s release date, but it is expected to be released next year.
