However, during this lockdown period, the 45-year-old actor and his celebrity wife Namrata Shirodkar have become pretty active on social media by frequently sharing special moments from their quarantine life which includes throwback stuff, their personal preferences of movies and books, and adorable moments with kids, Gautam and Sitara. Besides suggesting books like Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence and Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens, the ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ actor hailed the Tamil film Oh My Kadavule and German TV thriller Dark. Whether it is movies or shows, Mahesh Babu has the habit of watching all interesting stuff in theatres, TV and OTT platforms. On July 8, the Sarileru Neekevvaru actor took to Instagram and shared the poster of the popular German web series Dark. Mahesh Babu calls Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence ‘a total game changer’

On June 29, Mahesh shared the cover page picture of Daniel Goleman’s best-selling book Emotional Intelligence and wrote “#EmotionalIntelligence!! Scientific and groundbreaking. A total game changer... highly recommended This week belongs to Daniel Goleman!!” Through vivid examples, Goleman delineates the five crucial skills of emotional intelligence in the book and shows how they determine our success in relationships, work, and even our physical well-being.

Mahesh terms Yuval Noah Harari’s book as exciting, educative and eye-opening

Before Emotional Intelligence, the pick of the week for Mahesh Babu was Sapiens written by Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari. Starting from the provocative idea of how humans believe in things that exist purely in their own imagination, Sapiens goes on to retell the history of our species from a completely fresh perspective and explains that money is the most pluralistic system of mutual trust ever devised.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu will begin his next film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ once the on-going situation gets back to normalcy. Directed by ‘Geetha Govindam’ fame Parasuram, the pre-look poster of the commercial entertainer released to a roaring response from netizens. While ‘Mahanati’ fame Keerthy Suresh is romancing romance the Prince of Tollywood, the plot of the film reportedly revolves around financial frauds in the banking sector.
