Jr NTR gets legal shield on personality rights; 'War 2' actor thanks Delhi High Court; says 'Deeply thankful'
Jr NTR has openly thanked the Delhi High Court for standing by him. On Monday (December 29) evening, the Telugu superstar took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and shared a message of gratitude. 'RRR' star thanked the court for protecting his personality rights. He also showed respect and appreciation to his legal team.
He then thanked his lawyers by name and said, “My sincere appreciation to Supreme Court Advocates Dr. Balajanaki Srinivasan and Dr. Alka Dakar, along with Mr. Rajender and team of Rights & Marks, for their dedicated legal support.”
He ended the message with gratitude and said, “Deeply thankful for your steadfast support.”

Why did Jr NTR move to court?
On December 9 Jr NTR had approached the Delhi High Court with a complaint. He said that many e-commerce and social media platforms were using his name and photos without his permission.
According to the petition, these platforms were using his identity for commercial gain. He felt this was wrong and unfair. He wanted protection for his personality rights.
Reports say the court has now asked these platforms to respond within three days. This is an important step in the case.
According to ANI reports, In his petition Jr NTR explained that the misuse went beyond photos and names. It included his image, voice, signature traits, and even his style. These were being used to make money without his approval.
He felt that such use can confuse fans and harm his identity. That is why he decided to take legal action.
On the work front, Jr NTR made his Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan's 'War 2' which received mixed reviews.

In his post, Jr NTR wrote, “I thank the Hon’ble Delhi High Court for granting a protective order that safeguards my personality rights in today’s digital age.”He then thanked his lawyers by name and said, “My sincere appreciation to Supreme Court Advocates Dr. Balajanaki Srinivasan and Dr. Alka Dakar, along with Mr. Rajender and team of Rights & Marks, for their dedicated legal support.”
