Unseen Pictures from Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s Roka Ceremony
Popular actor Rana Daggubati has certainly surprised the Telugu states this morning by releasing a couple of pictures from his Roka ceremony with girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj. The event which took place on May 20 at the Ramanaidu Film Studios in Hyderabad was a hush-hush lockdown affair with only family members and a few friends in attendance. While Rana introduced Miheeka as his fiancé on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, the latter took to the photo-sharing platform on Thursday afternoon and shared photos of her Roka ceremony. Terming her boyfriend’s company as “My Happy Place”, she announced the big news with the caption “To the beginning of forever”.
Venkatesh’s daughter Aashritha Daggubati was among the first to comment on Miheeka’s post. She wrote “Cant believe I'm not there. Sending you two the biggggggggest hug ��”
Miheeka Bajaj runs her own event management company
Hailing from a prominent business background, Miheeka is the founder of an event management company, Dew Drop Design Studio. She is also a writer at a popular online interior and architect magazine. After pursuing her Diploma in interior design from Rachna Sansad in Mumbai, Miheeka did her Master’s Degree at the Chelsea University of Art and Design in London. She worked as an intern designer in Mumbai for about one year before turning into a writer.
She is the daughter of Hyderabad-based jewellery designer Bunty Bajaj
Miheeka Bajaj’s mother Bunty Bajaj is a prominent name in the jewellery business industry and her store Krsala is a favourite hotspot for jewellery connoisseurs. An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Bunty started off with event management business and gradually moved into jewellery designing. She was also one of the top wedding décor planners in India.
Close friends with Venkatesh’s daughter Aashritha and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor
Miheeka happens to be close friends with Venkatesh’s elder daughter Aashritha Daggubati and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor. Terming food as her biggest passion, she mentioned that cooking is one of her favourite hobbies. She likes reading books, enjoys writing occasionally and loves everything about gifts, from the presentation to find the most apt gift to suit the person’s preferences.
Suresh Babu hints at a winter wedding for his son Rana Daggubati
According to Rana’s father Suresh Babu, the engagement and marriage dates are yet to be finalised. However, the ace producer hinted that it is most probably going to be a winter wedding for his elder son. Speaking to Hyderabad Times on Wednesday, he said, “We just met Miheeka’s parents over tea and that is all that happened. No, Rana hasn’t gotten engaged yet.”
When asked if they’ve decided on a date for the engagement, Suresh said, “There’s still time for all that and we are yet to decide the engagement and wedding dates. Yes, we are looking at a winter wedding, but in the wake of the ongoing corona crisis, there is still a lot that needs to fall in place. Once everything is finalised, we will make a formal announcement soon.”
