Seems like actor Jagapathi Babu is currently enjoying the Golden phase of his acting career after transforming himself into a character artist and welcoming villainous roles. No doubt he is one of the most versatile actors we have in Tollywood today. He has tried almost all genres of filmmaking not just in Telugu cinema but also by venturing into other regional industries.
It all started for him after portraying a negative role in Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Legend. Now, he is one of the most sought after actors in South cinema with back-to-back film releases almost every month. He is now busy with at least 10 movies, and a few more released recently. Sai Dharam Tej’s - 'Republic'
Republic is an upcoming political thriller written and directed by Deva Katta and produced by JB Entertainments and Zee studios starring Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Ramya Krishna. Jagapathi Babu plays a primary role in the movie, which is scheduled for October 1st Release.

Keerthy Suresh’s - 'Good Luck Sakhi'
Good Luck Sakhi is an upcoming sports romantic comedy written and directed by award-winning Nagesh Kukunoor starring Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Jagapathi Babu. The film has completed its shoot and is currently getting ready for theatrical release along with its dubbed versions in Tamil and Malayalam. The film will also mark the directorial debut of Nagesh Kukunoor in Telugu.

Varun Tej’s - 'Ghani'
Ghani is a sports drama written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and is jointly produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby under the Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. The film stars Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar playing the lead roles along with Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra in crucial roles. The film is scheduled for November 2021 release.

Allu Arjun’s - 'Pushpa'
Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1, is an upcoming action thriller film written and directed by Sukumar and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movies in association with Muttamsetty Media. The film stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna playing the lead roles. Jagapathi Babu essays a significant role in the film. The film will also see Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Sri Tej playing other important roles. The film is slated for December 2021 release.

Sharwanand’s Maha - 'Samudram'
This is an upcoming action-drama written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi and produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments. The film is a bilingual that was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil starring Sharwanand, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Anu Emmanuel. The film will mark Siddharth making his comeback for a straight Telugu film after 8 long years. Maha Samudram is slated for October 2021 release.

Naga Shaurya’s - 'Lakshya'
Lakshya is a 2021 sports drama written and directed by Dheerendra Santhossh Jagarlapudi and is jointly produced by Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar under their Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas and North Star Entertainments. The film features Naga Shaurya, Ketika Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles. The film has wrapped up its shooting and is gearing up for a release soon.

Prabhas’s - 'Salaar'
Salaar is an upcoming Pan-India film written and directed by Prashanth Neel starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandurunder his Homable films. The film is simultaneously shot in Kannada and Telugu that will be dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi scheduling its release on 14 April 2022. The film sees Jagapathi Babu playing an important role named 'Rajamanaar'.

Rajinikanth’s - 'Annaatthe'
Jagapathi Babu will also be seen playing an important role in the upcoming action drama Annaatthe. Starring Rajinikanth, the film is written and directed by Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran under their Sun Pictures. The film has a huge star cast such as Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh as female leads and Jackie Shroff, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Vela Ramamoorthy, and Soori playing other prominent Roles. It is gearing up for 4th November 2021 for the Diwali release.

Vijay Sethupathi’s - 'Annabelle Sethupathi'
This is a Tamil comedy horror film directed by Deepak Sundarrajan and produced by Sudhan Sundaram under their Passion studios. It stars Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles. The film is slated to release on 17th September 2021. The film will also see its dubbing versions getting released in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam under the same title. Jagapathi Babu is playing an important role in the film.
