‘Spirit’: Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas film to release before ‘Fauzi’? Here’s what we know
Following a box office disappointment with 'The Raja Saab', Prabhas is reportedly re-evaluating his upcoming film releases. He is said to be prioritizing 'Spirit' over 'Fauzi', aiming for a strategic comeback. This shift in release order aims to avoid further commercial setbacks and ensure the right film reaches audiences at the opportune moment.
Prabhas recently faced a setback at the box office with his film ‘The Raja Saab’ failing to meet expectations at the box office. The movie has now become one of the lowest-grossing films in the actor’s recent career graph. Despite crossing the Rs 200 crore mark, the film suffered losses due to its big budget. Besides underperforming, social media reactions were rather mixed with some fans not fully satisfied with the film.

‘Fauzi’ goes into revamp mode

After the poor performance of ‘The Raja Saab’, Prabhas is reportedly treading very carefully. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor seems to be changing his release plans for his upcoming movies. He does not want to face another box office disappointment. As a result, he is keeping a close tab on his next project. Reports say Prabhas wants to take safe steps and release the right film at the right time.

‘Spirit’ likely to come first

Prabhas was supposed to release ‘Fauzi’ next. The film, which is a period drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, features the ‘Baabubali’ star as a soldier. The movie was planned for an Independence Day 2026 release. However, if the report is anything to go by, then Prabhas allegedly wants ‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, to release before ‘Fauzi’.
The actor hopes this move will help him bounce back. Due to these changes, the release date of ‘Fauzi’ is now unclear. It is imperative to mention that any official statement is yet to be made. Speaking of his latest outing, ‘The Raja Saab’, the film collected Rs 205 crore worldwide. In India, the gross collection is Rs 171.41 crore as per Sacnilk. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar in key roles.Prabhas also had two much-awaited sequels, including ‘Salaar 2’ and ‘Kalki 2898AD Part 2’, also in the pipeline.See More: Jana Nayagan Release Date Hearing LIVE updates: Madras High Court to pronounce orders on Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’
