Ram Charan after his current film, will jump straight into his next project, tentatively titled 'RC17', reuniting with 'Rangasthalam' director Sukumar for another highly anticipated collaboration.
Pre-production underway
In an interview with M9 News, the producer of both 'Peddi' and 'RC17' confirmed that the next film is progressing smoothly behind the scenes. When asked about Ram Charan's next venture, the producer revealed that pre-production work for 'RC17' is already underway and that the project will commence as soon as Ram Charan wraps his schedule for 'Peddi'.
On the other hand, Sukumar, who last gave the blockbuster 'Pushpa 2' with Allu Arjun, is reportedly in Dubai, currently working on the screenplay for 'RC17' as per Pinkvilla. Fans are eagerly anticipating this reunion, as the duo’s last collaboration remains one of Telugu cinema's most celebrated films in recent years.
Ram Charan's look in 'Peddi'
Regarding Ram Charan's current film, 'Peddi', he is seen in a rural village, engaging in cricket and wrestling. He stars as the lead, with
Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, marking her second Telugu film after 'Devara: Part 1' with Jr NTR. The film also features Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, and Jagapathi Babu, among others.
For the role, Ram Charan sports a muscular and ripped physique. He also has a rustic, long-haired look with a nose ring.
The film's music is composed by AR Rahman.
It is set to release on March 26, 2025.
