‘Varanasi’ actor Prithviraj Sukumaran likely to join Nani–Sujeeth’s ‘Bloody Romeo’ - Report

Natural Star Nani, after completing ‘The Paradise’ will be working with filmmaker Sujeeth in the upcoming movie ‘Bloody Romeo’. A few days after the makers released an animated teaser of the film, buzz in the industry suggests that Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran will be joining the project.According to a report by 123Telugu, it is said that Prithviraj Sukumaran is being considered by the makers to be a part of the film. He is said to be playing a powerful role. However, one must mention that no official confirmations of the film have been made.Speaking about the film, ‘Blood Romeo’, the teaser was released on February 24. It features a well-animated video, which features Nani who seems to be cooking a meal for crooks in a building named “Gangster’s Den”. Finishing his cooking, he adds a hand grenade to the lid of a pressure cooker. As the lid explosed the grenade goes flying on the crook's table and killed them all. He walks out of the place with a cool demeanour as his cigar get light in style. A tagline surfaces, “He’s No. 1 Chef,” where chef gets crossed to become, “He’s No. 1 Gangster.”The teaser shares that the shooting will begin in the summer. It features Nani in a witty role.Speaking of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming film, he will be seen in a powerful role playing the main villain named “Kumbha” of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus, ‘Varanasi’. The film also features Superstar Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. It is set to release on April 7, 2027. He will also be seen in ‘Khalifa’ and ‘Santosh Trophy’.On the other hand, Nani is currently working with Srikanth Odela on the film ‘The Paradise’. The movie is set to release on August 21, 2026.
