CBSE 10th Result 2022 LIVE Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday announced Class 10 results, which showed that 94.40 per cent of students cleared the exam with girls outperforming boys by a margin of 1.41 per cent. No merit lists for CBSE class 10 exams to avoid 'unhealthy competition' among students

The Central Board of Secondary Education will not declare merit lists for class 10 exams to avoid "unhealthy competition" among students, Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said on Friday. The CBSE did not announce merit lists in 2020 and 2021 as the results were declared on the basis of alternate assessment scheme because exams could not be conducted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Just like Class 12, Trivandrum region students have recorded the best pass percentage with 99.68 per cent in Class 10 too followed by Bengaluru with 99.22 per cent, Chennai with 98.97 per cent, Ajmer with 98.14 per cent and Patna with 97.65 per cent. Guwahati is at the bottom of the table with 82.23 per cent.
