Election 2026: Tuesday marks the last day of campaigning in Assam, Kerala, and the Union territory of Puducherry ahead of assembly elections on Thursday.In two other poll-bound states, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, polling will be held on April 23. West Bengal will have a second phase too, scheduled on April 29.The counting of votes in the four states and Puducherry UT will be held on May 4.West Bengal and Tamil Nadu have 294 and 234 constituencies respectively.
