India's total cases have now reached 76,51,108. With 717 new deaths, the death toll stands at 1,15,914. Total active cases are 7,40,090 after a decrease of 8448 in last 24 hours. The Greater Chennai Corporation on Tuesday sealed a popular textile showroom in T Nagar as the shop management failed to ensure social distancing norms and other to Covid-19 regulations. The corporation levied a penalty of Rs 5,000 on the showroom on Tuesday. Videos shared on social media platforms and instant messaging apps on Monday showed a huge crowd at the shop.
