Coronavirus: One in three exposed to coronavirus in Chennai, shows second sero survey

India's total cases have now reached 76,51,108. With 717 new deaths, the death toll stands at 1,15,914. Total active cases are 7,40,090 after a decrease of 8448 in last 24 hours. The human trial of Israel's Covid-19 vaccine candidate 'Brilife' will begin by the end of this month, with the Defence Minister terming it a "very significant moment" and "source of national pride" that could bring great news for the country and the world. The Greater Chennai Corporation on Tuesday sealed a popular textile showroom in T Nagar as the shop management failed to ensure social distancing norms and other to Covid-19 regulations. The corporation levied a penalty of Rs 5,000 on the showroom on Tuesday. Videos shared on social media platforms and instant messaging apps on Monday showed a huge crowd at the shop.
