NSA Doval, US envoy Gor discuss geopolitical issues
US ambassador to India Sergio Gor met NSA Ajit Doval on Wednesday to discuss security and geopolitical issues. The meeting took place amid the raging war in the West Asia region and US efforts to cobble together a multinational naval coalition to secure Strait of Hormuz.
India has said it prefers dialogue with Iran to secure safe passage for its ships awaiting clearance from Tehran.
