Sack education minister for NEET fiascos: Congress
NEW DELHI: Keeping up his party’s attack on BJP over repeated NEET fiascos, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said education minister Dharmendra Pradhan should be sacked for the paper leaks that “destroyed the hard work and future of crores of students” under Modi govt.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said PM Narendra Modi should hold “paper leak pe charcha”, in a reference to the annual “pariksha pe charcha”.
Rahul slammed Pradhan for his reported remarks that he did not pay attention to the recommendation of the parliamentary committee on education about NTA. Jairam Ramesh said Pradhan’s remark showed he was not cut out for the minister’s job.
Kharge said “Amrit Kaal” was proving to be “Mrit Kaal” for students.
