Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is held on 14 November every year as a tribute to, Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly known as Chacha Nehru among children, he advocated for children to have fulfilled education. On this day, many educational and motivational programs are held across India, by and for the children. Jawaharlal Nehru was a renowned freedom fighter and the first Prime Minister of independant India. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was a very sensitive and even sentimental person who willed his ashes to be strewn at all the sacred rivers of India as a mark of his love of India and his countrymen. His name was even mentioned for Nobel peace prize. His place in history' is remarkable and can never be erased.
