Royal Wedding 2018: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot

Meghan Markle's wedding outfit

The big moment we all have been waiting for has finally arrived. Meghan Markle has arrived at St. George's Chapel and looks every bit stunning in her royal wedding dress. The beautiful bride is wearing a gown from Givenchy, which is made the design house' creative director Claire Waight Keller, a British designer. The bridal dress is simple yet very elegant, which features a boat neckline, long sleeves, and a train. She is also seen wearing Queen Mary filigree Tiara with the look.

The Royal website stated:

Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition.

The Commonwealth family of nations – of which Her Majesty The Queen is Head –will be a central part of Prince Harry’s and Ms. Markle’s official work following His Royal Highness’s appointment as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. Ms. Markle wanted to express her gratitude for the opportunity to support the work of the Commonwealth by incorporating references to its members into the design of her wedding dress.

The veil is five meters long and made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza. Each flower was worked flat, in three dimensions to create a unique and delicate design. The workers spent hundreds of hours meticulously sewing and washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine.

The royal groom, Prince Harry arrived in uniform with this older brother and best man, Prince Willian. Both brothers were dressed in frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royal. Also, not to miss Harry's unshaven beard, that added extra charm to his look!

The perfect couple

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got engaged, the official wedding photos featured the bride-to-be wearing a classy sheer dress. Markle wore a Ralph & Russo couture gown for the photoshoot. The beautiful gown which featured a beaded and embroidered see-through top over a nude lining, clubbed with a frothy dark skirt.

The casual touch

Harry and Meghan went casual in Invictus Games gear at the UK team trials held in April. While Harry donned black trousers, brown shoes and a black Invictus Games jacket, Meghan picked up an Invictus Games polo, a jacket by Babaton for Aritiza and jeans by MOTHER.

The church look

Markle wore a belted beige wrap style coat from Sentaler, which she clubbed with a Philip Treacy hat and a circular Chloé bag and suede Stuart Weitzman boots.
