How to make non-veg dishes in an air fryer

When it comes to house parties, ordering food is an easy choice. But when it is a group of foodies with finesse, cooking at home looks more organic and satiating. And if your group is dominated by non-veg eaters who are also particular about their calorie intake, then we are here to help. Take a look at these non-veg snack dishes that can be made in an air fryer and are super healthy. As per experts, while using an air fryer, always preheat it for best results and light oil brushing improves colour and crunch of the dishes. Scroll down to read the details and make it a memorable house party for friends and family.

2/9

Chicken Tikka

This is one of the most popular non-veg snacks at any house party and to make it in an air fryer, you need to marinate boneless tender chicken pieces in thick curd, ginger–garlic paste, tandoori masala, chilli powder, lemon juice, and oil. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes and then air fry at 180°C for 12–15 minutes, turning once, till lightly charred and serve hot.

3/9

Tandoori Chicken Wings

While this one might have limited audiences, it tastes well when served right. And to make it, you need to marinate wings with curd, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, and mustard oil. The magic lies in mustard oil over any other oil and then simply air fry at 190°C for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway and serve hot.

4/9

Amritsari-Style Fish Fry

This dish is for all the fish and seafood lovers. All you need to do is coat the fillets in besan, ajwain, ginger–garlic paste, chilli powder, lemon juice, and salt. Let the pieces rest for 10 minutes and then air fry at 180°C for 10–12 minutes till crisp and golden. Serve hot with mustard sauce for the right kick.

5/9

Chicken Seekh Kebabs

Chicken Seekh Kebabs are tender pieces of flavour for which you need to mix minced chicken with onion, ginger–garlic paste, garam masala, chilli powder, and coriander. Shape into logs and then air fry 180°C for 12–14 minutes, turning once. Serve them hot on a bed of onion rings and enjoy.

6/9

Crispy Chicken Lollipops

These go really well with drinks and to make them all you need to do is, marinate lollipops in soy sauce, chilli sauce, garlic, pepper, and cornflour. Let them rest for 10 minutes so that the flavours are evenly infused. Then air fry at 190°C for 15–18 minutes till crisp outside and juicy inside. Serve hot.

7/9

Prawn Fry

This is for all the seafood lovers and to make it, you have to marinate prawns with chilli powder, turmeric, ginger–garlic paste, lemon juice, and rice flour. The use of rice flour adds the much needed crunchiness and makes it delectable. Next, air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes and enjoy. Make sure not to over cook, as it might destroy the flavours.

8/9

Chicken Popcorn

Mostly loved by kids, it is a must-have munchy and to make it, you have to coat chicken bites in flour, cornflour, chilli powder, pepper, and salt. Simply air fry at 190°C for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway and enjoy with dips of your choice.

9/9

Mutton Shami Kebabs

These are royal treats of flavours and are made with minced mutton, chana dal, cloves, onion, ginger-garlic paste, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, bay leaf, egg, coriander leaves and ghee. Shape the kebabs, and brush lightly with oil, air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes till crisp and heated through. Enjoy with mint and coriander chutney.
