Who says cake is only for dessert, it can easily double as a complete meal as long as it's made with the right ingredients.We are all looking for simple and delicious meals that pack a powerful nutrition punch and keep us full for hours. What if there is one quick recipe that can cater to your hunger pangs as well as taste buds. ITV's resident doctor Amir Khan recently shared a nutritious 'cake' recipe that can be easily prepared and relished for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dr Khan calls this vitamin-rich dish a "great all rounder" and "super easy to make."Dr Khan calls it a 'cake', but it's not what you thought it would taste like, as it is savoury and delicious.It has the same shape as a cake and is cut into slices. Dr Khan refers the dish as his "cake frittata". With the right combination of protein, vitamins, fibre, minerals, carbs, it would fill you up to the brim, keeping unhealthy cravings at bay. For people fasting for Ramadan, this could be an amazing option for sehri in the morning."Now, this is what I call an all-rounder. You can have it for breakfast, you can have it for lunch, you can have it for dinner.
It hits the spot every single time. It has got potatoes in it, it's got eggs in it, it's got loads of veg and cheese as well, honestly," Dr Amir Khan said on Instagram.
