Never give these food items as treats to your DOGS

We often give into those puppy eyes and treat our dogs to whatever we have on our plate. Be it biscuits, cake, chips, fruits, veges, pizza etc. But did you know that many of those things we give as treats are actually poisonous for them! So scroll down and read up on what all you must avoid and save your pup.

Avocados

Avocados have persin, which is a fungicidal toxin, which can even cause death. In case they ingest it, watch them closely for a day or two. If it is a small amount they may be alright but it may cause vomiting, diarrhea or other abdominal discomfort, so keep tabs.

Apple seeds

These seeds contain cyanide, a chemical that can cause hypoxia or lack of oxygen delivery to the body.

4/9

Candy

Any kind of candy is harmful because they have xylitol which is super toxic for our furry friends.

5/9

Coffee

Coffee beans contain caffeine, a very dangerous and toxic chemical for dogs. Its ingestion can be life threatening for them.

6/9

Garlic

Garlic is very poisonous for our furry babies because it has thiosulfate which damages the red blood cells.

7/9

Mustard

Mustard has toxic compounds which can lead to gastroenteritis. It causes inflammation in your puppy's tummy.

8/9

Raisins

Grapes, raisins cause kidney failure in dogs so make sure you never give them out as treats and they do not have food which contains raisins.
