NEW DELHI: Veteran match referees Richie Richardson and Andy Pycroft will lead the panel of officials for the
Asia Cup T20, which gets underway on Tuesday.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Monday announced the match officials for the group stage of the tournament.

The umpiring line-up features India’s Virender Sharma and Rohan Pandit, Sri Lanka’s Raveendra Wimalasiri and Ruchira Palliyaguruge, Afghanistan’s Ahmad Pakteen and Izatullah Safi, Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob and Faisal Afridi, and Bangladesh’s Gazi Sohel and Masudur Rahman.
Pycroft has been appointed as the match referee for the marquee India-Pakistan clash on September 14 in Dubai, with Palliyaguruge and Rahman named as the on-field umpires for the high-voltage encounter.
