While CSK have put up a competitive total on a tricky pitch, they lost momentum in the final overs, which could prove costly. They’ve done half the job with the bat, but now their bowlers need to step up big time. On the flip side, Punjab Kings will be confident as they possess a strong batting lineup capable of chasing down this target. However, they’ll need to bat smartly, balancing aggression with responsibility. So, who will come out on top? Yuzvendra Chahal, the man of the moment, is down for a chat. He says it felt nice and he looked to go for wickets in the penultimate over despite MS Dhoni being on the other end. Mentions that the ball was turning after getting old but reckons that the score is chasable.

For the Punjab Kings, their bowlers started brilliantly in the Powerplay. Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, and Harpreet Brar all picked up one wicket each to put CSK under pressure early. Though Azmatullah Omarzai was expensive in his initial spell, he bounced back with the crucial wicket of Brevis just after the second strategic break. Marco Jansen also returned to remove the in-form Sam Curran near the end, finishing with two important wickets.
