Right then, just 110 runs are needed for South Africa Women to win the Tri-Series but it won't be easy given the nature of the pitch and the quality of the Indian spinners. Can they chase it down? We shall find out shortly. We shall be back with the second innings soon.

South Africa Women will be pleased with their bowling effort. Shabnim Ismail and Nonkululeko Mlaba started off brilliantly with the ball. Mlaba was successful with two big scalps while Ismail kept it economical from the other end. Ayabonga Khaka and skipper Sune Luus chipped in with one a piece to cap off an excellent effort with the ball by Proteas Women.

India Women have ended on a below-par total of 109 for 4 in their 20 overs in the Final. Opting to bat first, India lost Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues for not much. Harleen Deol added 48 for the 3rd wicket with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur with the latter doing the bulk of the work. The scoring was difficult for India Women as they were 69 for 3 at the 15-over mark when Kaur departed for 21. Deepti Sharma came in at number 5 and gave some impetus to the innings with 16*. She added 39 runs off 28 balls along with Deol. Harleen Deol almost batted through the innings and carried the team along with a sensible 46 on this tough wicket to bat. India will hope for their bowlers to step up and make a match out of this.
