Amit Mishra four-for restricts Mumbai to 137/9
Amit Mishra took out Mumbai Indians' big guns Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard in quick succession but a late fight back for the lower middle order alongside Ishan Kishan took them to 137 for 9 against Delhi Capitals in Chennai. Skipper Rohit took the brave call to bat first on a slow Chepauk track but Mumbai lost Quinton de Kock (1) early in the Powerplay. Suryakumar Yadav looked good for his 24 but got out to Avesh Khan playing a loose shot. Ishan Kishan and Rohit had just then started to rebuild Mumbai's innings but Mishra came in and got the wicket of set Rohit for 44. He then got rid of Hardik in the same over and removed Pollard in the next, running through Mumbai's middle order. Jayant Yadav and Kishan then started the rescue act with a 39-run stand but Mishra came in again and got rid of dangerous Kishan in the 18th over to hurt Mumbai. The tailenders added 12 in the last two overs to take Mumbai to a reasonable total.
