Lucknow Super Giants have clarified the much-discussed on-field interaction between owner Sanjiv Goenka and captain Rishabh Pant following their defeat to Delhi Capitals.

After the loss, Goenka was seen in an animated conversation with Pant, with head coach Justin Langer also part of the exchange. While no audio was available, the visuals suggested a serious discussion, quickly going viral across social media and sparking widespread speculation among fans and experts.




The moment also revived memories of a similar incident in the 2024 IPL season, when Goenka was seen having a public exchange with then-captain KL Rahul after a defeat, an episode that had drawn considerable criticism at the time.

However, addressing the narrative, Lucknow Super Giants shared a video on their official social media, stating:
