Gujarat's bowling performance was decent, considering the challenging dimensions of the ground, particularly the short boundary on one side. While they didn't excel, they managed to keep Mumbai in check. The bowling unit shared the wickets, with all bowlers except Meghna Singh and Deandra Dottin claiming one wicket each. This evenly distributed wicket-taking effort helped Gujarat restrict Mumbai to a total of 179.

Deandra Dottin gave chase and threw the ball back to Beth Mooney, who collected it and broke the stumps. Unfortunately for Bhatia, she was well short of her crease, resulting in her dismissal.
