"Going good mate, we have a new crew this year but it's always nice to reconnect with some familiar faces from other teams and make some new friends as well. We had a really good lead-in, but obviously haven’t started the season as well as we would have wanted. But all in all, it is a pretty happy camp so I hope we can put in a good performance tonight. Rajasthan Royals, led by the inexperienced Riyan Parag, have their own set of issues.

Their bowling lacks firepower, with Tushar Deshpande and Sandeep Sharma failing to inspire confidence. Additionally, they miss an overseas batting talisman like Jos Buttler.

While Sanju Samson, Parag and Nitish Rana provide firepower, their ability to handle high-quality spin remains questionable.

Given these factors, CSK might have the upper hand in this battle of two struggling teams.

Despite their past success, CSK's bowling lacks the same bite this season. Matheesha Pathirana and Noor Ahmad have been impressive, but the Indian attack — featuring Khaleel Ahmed, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin — has looked underwhelming.

However, the sluggish nature of the Barsapara pitch could work in their favour. If Ashwin and Jadeja can replicate Moeen Ali and Varun Chakravarthy's spin dominance for KKR, they could trouble RR's middle order, which relies heavily on stroke-making against pace.
