Board Exam Results 2026 Highlights: ICSE, ISC, AP and Telangana SSC results soon, Assam HS results on April 28

The final week of April is shaping up to be a crucial period for students across India, as multiple state and national education boards are expected to release their board exam results for 2026. From Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to Assam and the CISCE boards, lakhs of students are awaiting official announcements that will determine their immediate academic future.

In Telangana, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGET) is expected to declare the Class 10 (SSC) results by the end of April. Last year, the results were announced on April 30, and a similar timeline is anticipated this year as well. In 2025, over 5 lakh students registered for the exam, with more than 5.07 lakh appearing. Once declared, students will be able to access their results online using their roll number mentioned on the SSC hall ticket.

Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the Board of Secondary Education (BSEAP) is also expected to announce the SSC results soon. The results will be released in online mode through official websites, and students will need their hall ticket numbers to access their marks memo. The board is expected to follow its usual pattern of releasing results between 10 AM and 12 PM. To ensure accessibility during high traffic, an SMS-based facility will also be available, allowing students to receive their results directly on mobile phones. Notably, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject to pass the examination.

In Assam, the wait for clarity has finally ended. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed that the Higher Secondary (Class 12) results will be declared on April 28, putting an end to speculation triggered by fake notices circulating online. Over 3 lakh students who appeared for the examination are now preparing for the official announcement, which holds significant importance for higher education admissions.

At the national level, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to announce the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results in the coming weeks. Although the exact date has not been confirmed, past trends suggest that results are likely in the last week of April or early May. In the past two years, results were declared on May 6, making a similar timeline probable for 2026.

With multiple results lined up within a short span, students are advised to stay updated through official sources and keep their credentials ready to avoid last-minute issues.
