The highly anticipated Team of the Season (TOTS) event has officially kicked off in EA FC Mobile, and it’s already delivering some of the best cards the game has seen so far. Along with the top stars from Ligue 1, EA has also dropped a stunning lineup of TOTS Icons, adding a nostalgic and powerful touch to the event.
The event will continue for at least seven weeks, featuring Ligue 1 first, and will be followed by EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, TOTS Special, and Ultimate TOTS (UTOTS). The excitement has just begun, and the Week 1 Icons are already among the top highlights.

These Icons are some of the highest-rated cards currently available in the game, offering world-class stats across defense, midfield, and attack.
How to Claim These TOTS Icons
TOTS Week 1 Icons available in the TOTS Gallery where these coveted cards can be claimed using TOTS SHards
A few of these TOTS Icons can be directly claimed through the TOTS event Gallery using TOTS Shards, which you can earn by playing event matches, completing milestones, and engaging in daily event activities. Here’s the shard requirement for each claimable Icon:
- Marco van Basten - 1250 TOTS Shards
- Saeed Al Owairan - 800 TOTS Shards
- Steven Gerrard - 650 TOTS Shards
- Andriy Shevchenko - 300 TOTS Shards
Simply gather enough TOTS Shards by playing through the event matches, completing daily milestones, and other TOTS activities, then head over to the Gallery to redeem them.
On the other hand, Lilian Thuram and Lothar Matthäus are available through Store Packs, the Transfer Market, and through Milestone Rewards during the event. Additionally, multiple lower OVR versions of Matthäus can be found in the TOTS Star Pass and through TOTS Exchange Offers, offering players additional ways to strengthen their midfield.
