Things appear to be looking up for F1 star Lewis Hamilton after a disappointing debut season with Ferrari last year. The seven-time world champion was recently spotted with Kim Kardashian in the Cotswolds, UK, where they reportedly enjoyed a dreamy romantic date night at a luxury hotel, complete with a couple’s massage. The news comes after he started the year on a high by topping the timesheets during the Barcelona shakedown.
Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian spend a romantic evening together
The Sun reported that Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian spent a romantic evening, beginning with a private couples massage at a country club in Witney, Oxfordshire, before heading out for an intimate dinner. Kardashian reportedly flew to the UK on her private jet and arrived at the ultra-luxurious Estelle Manor hotel in the Cotswolds, accompanied by two bodyguards to maintain privacy. Hamilton is said to have arrived an hour later by helicopter.
The Sun quoted a source as saying, “They had a couple’s massage booked and had full use of the facilities just for the two of them.” The source added that two of the three guards stood outside their room to prevent any disturbances.
Lewis Hamilton praises Ferrari after strong Barcelona shakedown
Lewis Hamilton appears to have put last season behind him after topping the Barcelona shakedown on Friday, setting the fastest lap times of the test and finishing ahead of drivers including Isack Hadjar and George Russell over the five days of running.
Sharing his reaction, he told F1, “It’s oversteery and snappy and sliding, but it’s a little bit easier to catch and definitely more enjoyable. It’s been a really enjoyable week, honestly. I think a huge amount of work was done over the winter on my side personally, and also by the team to make changes going into the test. We’ve had great debriefs, everyone’s really on it. I really feel the winning mentality in every single person on the team more than ever, so it’s positive.”
“I mean, we’re under no illusions. We know we’ve got work to do,” he added.
Hamilton suffered a personal loss last year following the death of his 12-year-old dog, Roscoe. On track, he struggled to show improvement despite repeated efforts during his debut season with Ferrari.
Two more tests are scheduled next, both in Bahrain. The new Formula 1 season will officially begin with the Australian Grand Prix on March 8, as new regulations come into force, with cars becoming lighter, shorter, and narrower.
