The February 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw had several exciting match cards and promos. The Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania witnessed the main event Women’s World Championship in Philly Street Fight style as Stephanie Vaquer put the title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez.
On top of that, exciting promos including Adam Pearce’s rift with the Vision and Paul Heyman got further highlights as the tension only extended with the recent confrontation. CM Punk, Roman Reigns and many A-lister superstars also appeared as the crowd went wild with loud cheers. Here’s the Raw results and highlights.
Je’Von Evans vs. El Grande Americano
Je’Von Evans absorbed early pressure as El Grande Americano targeted him in the corner. Evans answered with a sharp dropkick and used his speed to escape ringside chaos, diving onto Grande after forcing him outside. Interference from Rayo briefly swung control back to Americano.
After trading blows and escaping a tight submission, Evans landed a coast-to-coast dropkick. After outside distractions and the referee removing a metal plate, Evans was able to land the OG Cutter to seal a decisive win.
Penta vs. Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed drove Penta into the corner and shut down his quick offense. Penta answered with aerial speed, nearly catching Reed with a springboard attack before flying outside with a daring tope.
Reed soon regained control, using his size to slam Penta into the ropes and follow with a crushing senton for a close count.
Interference created chaos at ringside which sent the officials down. Reed looked poised to finish after a Tsunami. However, the outside action changed everything. Reed was unable to return in time. Penta secured the victory.
Women’s World Championship Philly Street Fight: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Stephanie Vaquer survived a brutal Philly Street Fight to retain the Women’s World Championship. Raquel Rodriguez used power to control long stretches. Vaquer found key openings at critical moments. Outside interference failed to do any harm, and Rodriguez’s power moves fell short late. A daring corkscrew finish sealed the win for Vaquer.
