Max Verstappen’s model and influencer girlfriend Kelly Piquet looked back on a transformative 2025 by sharing a small note alongside a collection of her most cherished memories from the year. The couple welcomed a baby girl in May and also moved into a new home, making it a fulfilling year. Verstappen features prominently in Piquet’s photo dump, appearing as a doting father to their daughter Lily and to Piquet’s elder daughter, Penelope. Piquet also revealed that the family celebrated another special arrival, as her brother Nelson Piquet Jr. was blessed with a baby girl as well.

Welcoming my second baby, a new home, Nino’s arrival, not one but TWO very special baby showers, my second Vogue cover, unforgettable moments with family and friends, exciting work opportunities… as well as challenges, exhaustion, and growth. Closing the year grateful, a little tired, and ready for 2026.”

Max Verstappen was quick to react, dropping multiple red heart emojis in the comments to show his love and support. Formula E driver Antonio Felix da Costa also reacted with raised-hands emojis. Max Verstappen finishes runner-up in F1 World Championship

After struggling with his Red Bull car during the first half of the season, Max Verstappen mounted a strong comeback and came extremely close to securing his fifth Formula 1 World Championship. However, he ultimately lost the title to Lando Norris by just two points, finishing second in the championship standings.

During his time away from F1, Verstappen also focused on GT3 racing and has already acquired his licence. He secured a victory at the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) in September and is aiming to compete in the iconic 24-hour race at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in the near future.
