BANGALORE, June 9: Chirag Kumar repeated the new course record he had set two days ago as he fired a 5-under 65 in the final round to win the Suth India Amateur Golf Championship here on Friday.
Chirag, who had broken the course record in the second round, tallied an overall nine-under 271 and win the title by eight strokes ahead of Noida's Simarjeet Singh, Jasjeet Singh and Anirban Lahiri.

Chirag caught fire on the front-nine with birdies on the fifth, eighth and ninth.
In the back nine, Chirag dropped his only shot of the day on the 11th but more than made up with birdies on the 14th, 17th and 18th .
Manav Jaini, who shot a three-over 73, finished fifth with a tally of 281.
