He played in 49 games and started 35 of them, taking roles at both tackle and guard. After redshirting in 2015, he slowly became a regular presence on the field. One of his final moments as a player came in the 2019 Sun Bowl, where Arizona State secured a win over Florida State.

After his playing career ended, Miller moved into coaching. He worked as a graduate assistant at Louisiana Lafayette and later at the University of Florida. Still, Arizona State remained close to him. About three years ago, he returned to join the staff again, working under head coach Kenny Dillingham at Mountain America Stadium.
