Salah’s future has become a major talking point among former players and analysts. During a discussion on Stick to Football, Gary Neville had suggested that the winger could stay in England and join clubs like Arsenal or Chelsea. However, Gerrard does not agree with that view and believes a move outside England is more realistic.

Steven Gerrard made it clear that he does not expect Mo Salah to join a Premier League rival. Gerrard added that if he had to predict, he would confidently say the Egyptian forward will choose the Saudi Pro League as his next destination.

Carragher, however, had a different opinion. He suggested that Salah still sees himself as one of the top players in the world. Because of that, moving to Saudi Arabia now would feel like stepping away from top-level competition. Carragher believes Salah could spend a few more years at a competitive European club before considering such a move. He pointed towards Italy as a strong option, especially since Salah has previous experience in Serie A with AS Roma.
