LeBron James’ Cleveland legacy continues as Bronny James debuts signature logo at Rocket Arena

When the Lakers and Cavaliers locked horns on January 28, 2026, the atmosphere at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse was heavy with nostalgia and emotion. It wasn’t just LeBron James returning to his roots, but also marked his second return to the city as a father-son duo with Bronny James.

And to top it off, Bronny James debuted his signature logo with Nike. Just like LeBron, who signed a $90 million Nike deal before his 2003 debut and a lifetime contract in 2015, the fans are now witnessing the birth of a second James empire.

Bronny James debuts new logo with Nike in Lakers vs Cleveland

Bronny James has officially dropped his footprint in NBA’s billion-dollar sneaker industry with Nike to establish his own brand. During the Cleveland matchup,

Bronny was seen wearing his own Nike Lebron Witness 9 PE in his feature logo at the back of the shoe. The shoe features a stylized “b” on the heel with a hidden j that also looks like a 9. This detail might be intentional and serves a dual purpose: one, the James surname, and second, Bronny’s #9 Lakers jersey. This player's exclusive edition remains unavailable for purchase by the general public.


Nike’s LeBron Witness 9 has been designed to be durable and is known for its ReactX form midsole that offers 13% more responsive cushioning. While the outer layer has extra durable-rubber, it also boasts a crown shape design beneath the heel.

In October 2022, Bronny James signed a NIL deal with Nike long before he even stepped on the NBA court. In September 2023, Nike released a replice Bronny’s USC jersey, and now that he debuted his own logo the speculations have started to fly around regarding his evolving relationship with the brand.

"For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family. To debut my own logo here, where everything started for my dad, is a dream I can’t even put into words,” said Bronny after his NIL deal with Nike.

The timing of Bronny’s logo reveal seems panned as the sentimental value of Cleveland is high. In an emotional moment about sharing the stage with his son while having his mom witness it, LeBron said, “Like, I don’t even know how to even, like, wrap that all in one in my brain. It’s so weird. It’s so cool. And so surreal. My mom gets to watch her son and grandson play in the NBA at the same time. Man, I actually just started to think how insane that is.”

Despite Lakers’ 99-129 blowout loss to Cavs, the atmosphere in the arena remained heavy with respect and appreciation towards LeBron’s contributions and NBA career.
