Spin coaching to reach all levels

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">KOLKATA, May 28:</span> Whenever there is a talk of recruiting a bowling coach, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invariably veers towards a pace bowler.<br /><br />Great Indian spinners of yesteryear believe this thought process has to change and a spin-bowling coach should be attached to every age-group team at the national and international level.<br /><br />They will make a formal proposal to the BCCI in this regard at the third spinners'' conclave in Kolkata on Saturday.<br /><br />Erapalli Prasanna, a member of the committee told the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">TNN</span> on Friday that the process has to start from the grassroots level itself.<br /><br />"I interacted with Bishan (Singh Bedi) on this and we want this to be implemented as soon as possible at the junior level to start with," Prasanna said.<br /><br />Bedi and Prasanna apart, others who will be taking part in the conclave are Sunil Gavaskar, Brijesh Patel, V.B. Kumar, Anil Kumble and Ravi Shastri.
