“We were having a lot of fun. Man, it was Canada. Got out to the quick lead, and it made it very stressful. Dude, the refs in that game, I don’t know what the f*ck they were doing,” Jason said on the New Heights podcast while reacting to the Olympic final.

He added context right after praising Keller’s winner. “And that was after Megan Keller's goal, a little dangle to the backhand underneath the blocker. So, anyway, yeah, it was an electric game,” he said during the same episode.

Jason Kelce’s frustration explains the title. He found several calls confusing during crucial stretches, especially when momentum shifted between the two sides. In tight Olympic finals, every whistle matters. He felt the standard lacked consistency.

Still, the bigger picture favored Team USA. The women’s team clinched gold on February 20. Two days later, the U.S. men’s team also beat Canada to take gold on February 22, 2026. That sweep added more pride to the moment.

Jason also praised the men's and women's hockey teams. “I mean, dude, we’re men’s and women’s gold medalists. Best country on the planet in hockey,” he said.

The Kelces, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, also shouted out defender Laila Edwards from their hometown. Travis Kelce shared the excitement.
