Model claimed in lawsuit that Shannon Sharpe’s alleged intimacy with other women "endangered" her health

Shannon Sharpe, the NFL legend, had to pay $21 million to a young model after he was sued by her as she accused him of sexually assaulting her multiple times in the last two years. Despite denying such accusations, Shannon Sharpe ended up paying a large sum to the model. While the lawsuit was scandalous, the details paint a pretty dark picture of what allegedly went on between them.As per the court documents of the lawsuit which was obtained by NBC Sports, the young model was allegedly scared of her sexual health.The lawsuit states that when Shannon Sharpe went live on Instagram last year while getting intimate with another woman, the model was blindsided by it as she believed that the two were dating each other exclusively.While Shannon Sharpe apologised for his actions, the model was scared of sexually transmitted diseases.The lawsuit states that, "This (Shannon Sharpe’s apology) was a lie that not only hurt her emotionally—it made her fear for her sexual health and the risk of sexually transmitted disease…”However, that’s not all; the lawsuit also goes into details of the instances where the young model accused Shannon Sharpe of sexually assaulting her.The lawsuit details, "After many months of manipulating and controlling Plaintiff — a woman more than thirty years younger than he — and repeatedly threatening to brutally choke and violently slap her…”The lawsuit added, “Sharpe refused to accept the answer no and raped Plaintiff, despite her sobbing and repeated screams of 'no…'" All such accusations against the NFL legend have been constantly and strongly denied by Shannon Sharpe and his legal team.As of now, Shannon Sharpe has been fired by ESPN after he settled the lawsuit with the woman. The young woman also announced her retirement from a few weeks back, even though she continues to be pretty active on her social media accounts.For the unversed, Shannon Sharpe has never been married but has children with a few ex girlfriends. Shockingly, his children are younger than the model who sued him.
