Over/Under

The total points line, also known as the over/under, is currently set at 45.5 points. This number represents the combined total score expected from both teams.



Earlier in the week, some sportsbooks had the total slightly higher at 46.5. And betting activity, especially money placed on the under, brought the number down to 45.5.

Interestingly, while more total bets have been placed on the over, larger early wagers on the under helped move the line downward. One interesting fact about this Super Bowl is that both teams started the season as long shots, with preseason championship odds of 60-1 or longer.
