Mike Tomlin, the former Pittsburgh Steelers’ coach, announced his exit from the team, around a week ago, without mentioning a reason for it.
After staying with the team for close to two decades, Mike Tomlin’s controversial exit from the team has made many fans emotional. Amid all the mess, there seems to be a new theory about Mike Tomlin’s exit being linked to his alleged affair.
Mike Tomlin might have “kept everything hush” about an alleged affair
As soon as Mike Tomlin announced his exit from the team, fans were quick to link him with a woman named Nina Paigley.
While there were no confirmed reports or proof that Mile Tomlin cheated on his wife, fans were convinced about it.
A few days ago, Jason Whitlock has also made comments about the affair as he said, "Why is there a rumor going around about the real reason that Mike Tomlin stepped down from coaching the Pittsburgh Steelers is because he got a side woman pregnant…”
He added, “While his wife has cancer and he broke the personal conduct rule or something. And so they trying to keep everything hush. People that work with her are verifying this and they saying that he paid her $3.5 million to stay quiet."
However, neither the Pittsburgh Steelers nor the popular ex coach, Mike Tomlin, has responded to these speculations.
Mike Tomlin’s wife, Kiya Tomlin, maintains a distance from the controversy as she focuses on her business
Interestingly, Mike Tomlin’s wife of three decades, popular entrepreneur Kiya Tomlin, has been pretty active on social media as she has been posting about her clothing line.
But Kiya Tomlin has also maintained her distance from the drama as she continues to focus on her career.
Though Kiya Tomlin has not spoken about the claims of the alleged affair, she has opened up about Mike Tomlin’s exit with a heartfelt post.
Her statement read as, “I am incredibly proud of what he has accomplished both on and off the field. Over the past days, the testimonies shared by his current and former players– the men who knew him best– have been deeply moving.”
