Tokyo Olympics 2021 Updates: Kamalpreet finishes 6th in discus final; India women in hockey semis
Kamalpreet Kaur finished sixth in the women's discus throw final with a best throw of 63.70m. After an emotionally charged Sunday, where PV Sindhu won a historic second individual medal (bronze) and the men's hockey team entered the semifinals after a gap of 49 years, Day 11 went a step further as this time the Indian women's hockey team made a historic maiden entry into the Olympic semifinals by stunning world No. 2 Australia 1-0 in the quarterfinal.
