Samsung unveils 2026 soundbar and Wi-Fi speaker lineup ahead of CES
Ahead of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, Samdung has expanded its product lineup with the launch of new Q-series soundbars. CES, for those unware, will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 6 to 9. Announcing the new products, Samsung said that the lineup focuses on improved sound immersion, cleaner audio output, and better integration across multiple devices within the home. Samsung said the new range builds on its long-standing presence in the soundbar market and is designed to work seamlessly with Samsung TVs and smart home features.“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.”Samsung’s 2026 lineup is led by its updated Q-Series soundbars. Samsung’s flagship HW-Q990H soundbar introduces a new feature called Sound Elevation, which shifts dialogue closer to the centre of the TV screen for clearer speech. It also adds Auto Volume, which keeps sound levels consistent across different types of content.
The new system comes equipped with an 11.1.4-channel setup that consists of a main soundbar, rear speakers and a compact active subwoofer which Samsung claims is designed to deliver bass while taking up less space.Another addition is the HW-QS90H All-in-One Soundbar. This model supports both wall-mounted and tabletop placement and uses a built-in gyro sensor to adjust audio output based on its position. The Soundbar boasts of a 7.1.2-channel system featuring 13 drivers. It also comes integrated with an bass system, removing the need for a separate subwoofer. Samsung has also introduced two new Wi-Fi speakers under its Music Studio series: Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. Both models are designed to work independently or as part of a larger Samsung audio setup. The Music Studio 7 delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio with support for high-resolution sound and extended frequency range. The smaller Music Studio 5 focuses on compact design while offering balanced audio and smart connectivity options such as Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth and voice control.The company said its Q-Symphony feature has been updated for 2026, allowing Samsung TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers to work together as a single system. Users can now connect up to five sound devices to one TV, with the system adjusting audio output based on room layout. The company further stated that users can control playback and sound settings thorugh the SmartThings app.
