Dell partners Omega to help company upgrade its global service infrastructure: All details
Dell Technologies has announced a partnership with Omega Healthcare Management Services to modernise the company’s global IT infrastructure using Dell Private Cloud. With this collaboration, Omega Healthcare will be able to achieve operational consistency across different geographic locations, increase the reliability of its systems, and offer continuous health care delivery to its hospitals and providers.According to Dell, the updated infrastructure is designed to simplify management across compute, storage, and networking while enabling support for critical clinical and administrative workloads. Omega Healthcare, an AI-driven healthcare solutions company, provides enterprise services to hospitals and healthcare providers in the United States through multiple global delivery centres. The companies said Omega Healthcare faced increasing complexity in managing its IT environment as operations expanded across India and other regions. Existing infrastructure involving multiple vendors, platforms, and hypervisors reportedly made management more difficult and reduced consistency across locations.

How Dell Private Cloud will support Omega Healthcare's infrastructure standardisation

Dell said its Private Cloud platform, powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors, provides a standardised architecture that can be deployed across multiple sites. The platform is intended to simplify lifecycle management and improve operational control as Omega Healthcare scales operations.
Omega Healthcare has also adopted a disaggregated infrastructure using Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell PowerStore storage, allowing compute and storage resources to scale independently. The companies said this approach is expected to improve resilience for workloads requiring continuous availability. The upgraded platform also enables workload mobility between regions, supporting Omega Healthcare’s global “follow-the-sun” operational model to maintain services across time zones.Dell said the private cloud environment is managed through the Dell Automation Platform, which adds orchestration and lifecycle automation capabilities. The infrastructure also incorporates Dell AIOps tools, providing centralised monitoring of infrastructure health across different regions.According to the companies, the AI-driven visibility aims to help IT teams monitor risks, reduce manual intervention, and maintain service continuity.Commenting on the partnership, Srikanth Katuri, senior vice president and global chief information officer, Omega Healthcare said, “Any disruption in healthcare can impact clinical outcomes. That’s why availability is the fundamental principle for our infrastructure. Dell Private Cloud has helped us unify complex systems, improve visibility across regions and build a reliable foundation that supports better outcomes for patients and providers.”“Healthcare organizations must scale without compromising reliability or control. With Dell Private Cloud, Omega Healthcare has modernized its infrastructure with a flexible, AI-enabled platform that supports continuous operations today and future growth tomorrow,” Venkat Sitaram, senior director and country head, Infrastructure Solutions Group, India, Dell Technologies, added.
