World cricket's most experienced match referee Ranjan Madugalle will be in charge of the six-match white ball series between India and Sri Lanka starting on July 18.

Sri Lanka have been fined 40 per cent of their match fee for maintaining slow over-rate against Australia in the second T20 in Colombo. Ranjan Madugalle of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees imposed the sanction after Dasun Shanaka's side was ruled to be two overs short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.

ICC, Chief Match Referee, Ranjan Madugalle and ICC, Elite Panel Umpire, Kumar Dharmasena will feature in a highly recognised Match Referee Panel and an Umpiring Panel to officiate in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
